Reedición: All Things Must Pass - 40 Aniversario

Mañana, 26 de Noviembre se pone a la venta la reedición del más famoso de los álbumes en solitario de George Harrison. Esta reedición se realiza en vinilo; rememorando este magnifico LP, que originariamente fue publicado el 27 de noviembre de 1.970 en un desconocido formato: un triple álbum, en donde se mostraba el torrente musical que llevaba en sus venas y que hasta ese momento había estado eclipsado por sus compañeros de formación John Lennon y Paul McCartney.

Fue el primer Beatle que en solitario llegó a lo más alto de las listas de éxitos del momento, como en Estados Unidos, Reino Unido y casi todos los paises en donde se publicó, llevandose en las listas más medio año consecutivo.

Ya en 2.001 fue reeditado en el formado de moda del momento CD, pero en aquella ocasión no siguió la estructura original, siendo publicado en un doble Cd.

En esta ocasión se rememora incluso el formato original, no solo en el soporte de vinilo sino que además se trata de una reedición en triple vinilo, con su caja y su maxi libro.

Comenzamos con este Post una nueva sección llamada "Fue noticia", en ella publicaremos noticias antiguas, que tivieron repercusión en publicaciones de la época.

Esta primera "Fue noticia" se la dedicamos a John Lennon, en su 30 aniversario de su boda con Yoko en Gibraltar, la noticia fue publicada en "Diario de Cádiz" el 14 de Marzo de 1999.

Hay muchas páginas Web dedicadas a The Beatles, pero el sitio que hoy os propongo es diferente, es posible que muchos lo conozcais ya que hace muchísimo tiempo que existe, pero ésta es una buena ocasión para echarle unas miradas, pincha aqui, para conocerla, conoceras la historia de The Beatles en comic y ¡originariamente en español! no está completa aunque el autor está poco a poco actualizandola. Merece la pena.

Reedición Albumes Rojo y Azul

Hoy se publica a nivel mundial la reedición de los famosos álbumes recopilatorios "The Beatles / 1962 - 1966" y "The beatles / 1967 - 1970" conocidos por todos como el álbum rojo y el álbum azul.

La reedición está compuesta por 2 set bien diferentes, uno compuesto por ambos álbumes, tal como se publicaron en 1973 y otro set compuesto por los 2 álbumes remasterizados, logicamente tambien se pueden adquirir por separado cada uno de ellos.

Como nota curiosa cabría indicar que el disco dos del The Beatles 1967 - 1970 cuando se publicó originariamente en España en 1973 venía con un tema cambiado al resto del mundo; el corte 6 "The Ballad Of John and Yoko", al estar prohibido en España fué sustituido por "One After 909", lógicamente en ediciones posteriores ya no fué así.
